We help foreign visitors — mostly from the US, Europe, and beyond — plan, book, and navigate a trip to the ashram in Coimbatore, from your first program registration to the moment you land back home.

Visa hassles. Figuring out which visa you need, how far in advance to apply, and what documentation Isha requires can be confusing from outside India.
Planning for safe water + taxis. Knowing which water is safe to drink and how to get reliable, fairly-priced transport from the airport to the ashram isn't obvious on your first trip.
Getting your wifi + international phone / SIM set up. You'll want a working local SIM or data plan from the moment you land — not after wasting a day hunting for one.
Which flights to book, and when. Timing your flights around program dates, layovers, and jet lag recovery makes a real difference once you're on the ground.
Most people in Isha's community outside India already know exactly why they want to make this trip. What stops many of them is everything around it — flights, visas, safe places to stay, and simply not knowing what to expect on the ground.
Finished Inner Engineering, feels called to the ashram, but has never traveled to India and isn't sure where to start — visas, what to pack, whether it's safe to go alone.
Has been before, is heading back for a deeper program like Bhava Spandana or Samyama, and just wants the logistics handled so they can focus on the sadhana.
Follows Sadhguru online, has thought about visiting India for years, and needs a trustworthy hand to turn "someday" into an actual trip on the calendar.
A short intake form and a call — your program interest, dates, experience level, and any concerns.
Itinerary, program registration guidance, visa checklist, and a realistic budget, tailored to you.
Pickup, stay, SIM card, and orientation — arranged before you land, by our Coimbatore-based team.
WhatsApp support throughout your stay, and a real person nearby if you need one.
Visiting Isha isn't a big travel agency — it's a small, personal operation run by three friends. We're independent, unofficial, and not part of Isha Foundation's staff or organization.
Has traveled to the ashram multiple times and completed several of Isha's programs, including Samyama. Active in Isha's volunteer and city-center community across the US, and has personally guided first-time travelers through their own trips.
Lives about 20km from the ashram and runs several local businesses. Leads on-the-ground operations — accommodation, transport, local vendor relationships, and day-to-day support for every traveler we work with.
Heads up Digital Nomad Services in the US, with a background in SEO and digital marketing from other ventures alongside Peter and Aatral. Has traveled through South India himself and promotes Visiting Isha to his own global network of remote workers and travelers.
We're developing monthly, managed-stay packages for people who want to live and work remotely near the ashram for weeks or months at a time — not just a one-time visit.
Book a monthly subscription package that helps you navigate day-to-day life once you're there — housing, connectivity, transport, and local know-how — so you can have an authentic Indian experience and live abroad for a small fraction of what it costs to stay in the US or Europe, all while you build your freelance, gig, e-commerce, or startup business in a safe and interesting corner of the world.
Every package is a one-time fee for a single trip. No subscriptions, no recurring charges.
Pricing shown is a starting rate while we run our first cohort of travelers — final numbers may be refined based on group size, season, and specific requests. Group and family rates available on request. Lodging near the ashram can be arranged through our trusted local booking partner; we'll point you there directly as part of your package.
No. We are an independent travel and concierge service run by three individuals who are part of the broader Isha community as participants, volunteers, and the wider network around it. We are not employed by, contracted with, or officially endorsed by Isha Foundation. All program registration happens directly through Isha's own official channels — we simply help you prepare for and navigate the trip around it.
Program registration always happens directly with Isha Foundation through their official website and channels. We help you understand timing, requirements, and what to expect — we don't register on your behalf or take payment for programs themselves.
We help arrange accommodation through trusted local partners with experience hosting Isha visitors, matched to your budget and program dates. Our team is also familiar with the full range of stay options near the ashram, from simple to comfortable.
Thousands of foreign visitors travel to the ashram every year, many on their own. The honest answer is that most of the friction is about unfamiliarity, not actual danger — which is exactly what our packages are built to remove: a known plan, someone to call, and a local presence nearby.
Yes — we provide guidance and checklists for the visa process relevant to visiting for a program stay. Final visa applications are submitted by you (or with a visa consultant, for more complex cases), since we are not a visa issuing authority.
Happy to quote group and family rates — most of our packages get more efficient per person when two or more people travel together.
